We spent two weeks in Athens trying to experience what it’s like to live here, and nothing on our trip compared to eating here- being treated like family, incredible food (best lamb I’ve ever had and it’s not close), amazing authentic atmosphere- the highlight of Greece.

It is a perfect place to experience local food and local drinking atmosphere. I visited there 2 times a day. One time alone for some BBQ pork in the late afternoon. The local customers were so friendly that they treated me their Cretan food and Riki. The 2nd time was with my Japanese colleagues. Awesome place serving traditional Cretan food. It's packed with locals. There is a limited menu - everything we had was awesome especially the lamb! Raki is served in small bottles - that went down really well 😀 excellent value for money we couldn't believe the price. The staff are super friendly and accommodating even with limited English.

Amazing… This has to be my favorite restaurant find in the past couple years. Literally every plate I have tried is good. Raki was good too. Great vibe and very friendly staff. Half of my family is from Crete (Lasithi) so as far as I know, the taste is extremely authentic. Can’t recommend it enough. DO NOT CHANGE anything.

Authentic Cretab meze and Raki with a welcoming service. Sifi and his family are excellent hosts. You need to go if haven't. It's a very small place with lots of character.

Ο πρώτος λογος για να ερθει κανεις στο Ντελογο είναι η φιλόξενη υποδοχη!!!! Ζεστη με μια στιβαρη χειραψία ( που εχει εξαφανιστει στις μερες μας) απο τον κο Σηφη. Αισθάνεσαι οικεια, με το που μπαινεις,σε αυτο το μικρο χωρο και μετα...ξαναβγαινεις να βρεις σκαμπο για να καθισεις απ εξω. Στον μαυροπινακα βλεπεις τις επιλογές. Ολες αντιπροσωπευτικες της λεβεντογεννας Κρητης. Ρακη στο μικρο μπουκαλακι παγωμένη,μπυρα βαρελισια και μετα ντακο με υπεροχη ξινομυζηθρα,λουκανικο ΑΠΑΙΧΤΟ, αντικριστο και οφτη πατατα, ντολμαδάκια και γραβιερα Κρήτης. Ολα αυτα με κρητικα τραγουδια και τον αξιολατρευτο κο Σηφη κατα διαστήματα να σιγοτραγουδα,να τσουγκριζει μαζί σου,να ανανεώνει το νερο στα ποτήρια και να βαζει παγο,χωρις να το πάρεις ειδηση. Μετα τις 9.30 ο κοσμος πυκνωνει. Δικαιως μεν,με πολλη φασαρία δε(... ίσως φταίει και η ηλικια μου..). Παρολα αυτα,δεν ξεκολησαμε. Δεν φευγαμε απο τη νοστιμια των φαγητων,την ζεστασια του ιδιοκτητη αλλα και του βοηθου του(συγνώμη που δεν ρωτήσαμε το ονομα του...υποσχομαι,την επομενη φορα..). Πήραμε τα " κλειδια" ....εξαντλωντας την απίστευτη υπομονη τους και χωρίς να χαθει ουτε ενα τσικ,η ευγένεια τους οταν μας καληνυχτισαν. Εγω θα ξαναερθω. Το υποσχεθηκα. Και το συστηνω χωρις τον παραμικρο ενδοιασμο,γιατι στο Ντελογο ,οι ....λογοι ...για να πας ειναι πολλοι !!! Μικρη σημείωση....:"κυριε Σηφη μου...θελουν μια μικρη αναβαθμιση..τα ηχεία...να ακούγονται καλλιτερα τα κρητικα τραγουδια..."Μετάφραση
I've been waiting for a long time for the opportunity to go to Delogo. Living abroad and traveling frequently to Greece, everything was happening and I couldn't make it, until last night. With a dear friend we managed it. The first reason for anyone to come to Delogo is the hospitable welcome!!!! Warm with a solid handshake (which has disappeared in our days) from Mr. Sifis. You feel at home, as soon as you enter, in this small place and then...you go out again to find a stool to sit outside. On the blackboard you see the choices. All representative of the lively Crete. Raki in a small bottle, chilled, draft beer and then dako with delicious sour cheese, APAICHTO sausage, antikristou and ofti potatoes, dolmadakia and Cretan graviera. All this with Cretan songs and the adorable Mr. Sifis occasionally singing softly, chirping with you, refreshing the water in the glasses and putting ice, without you even noticing. After 9.30 the crowd thickens. Rightly so, but not with much fuss (... maybe my age is also to blame..). Despite this, we did not get bored. We did not leave the deliciousness of the food, the warmth of the owner and his assistant (sorry that we did not ask his name... I promise, next time..). We got the "keys" .... exhausting their incredible patience and without missing a beat, their kindness when they said goodnight to us. I will come again. I promised. And I recommend it without the slightest hesitation, because in Delogo, the ....reasons ...to go are many!!! A small note....: "Mr. Sifi...they want a small upgrade..the speakers...so that the Cretan songs can be heard better..."
